           * WAR EAGLE MILL

A collection of Ginny's jewelry has been added to the gift area of this historic mill on War Eagle creek.  With origins that date to 1832, the current mill is the fourth, built in 1973. It is styled the same and built on the same foundations as the third mill, completed in 1873, and lost in 1924.  Today, War Eagle is the only working mill in Arkansas and it is still powered by an eighteen-foot cypress waterwheel.  When visiting northwest Arkansas, WAR EAGLE MILL remains a great historic stop in the hills east of Rogers and Beaver Lake area.  It's website gives a full history and an overview of their mill products and other offerings.
